Healthcare Coalition of Texas awards agreement to EDCO Group

Plano, Texas October 6, 2010 Healthcare Coalition of Texas (HCT) announced that it has awarded an agreement to EDCO Group for document management solutions including: on-site day forward scanning, backfile scanning, storage, shredding and electronic data back-up services. The 17 healthcare system members of HCT will have access to all of EDCO’s solutions to help lower their document management costs.

The HCT agreement with EDCO will offer its members significant cost savings to accelerate the transition to an electronic medical record with solutions to digitize and import medical records faster, cheaper and more accurately than traditional scanning practices. Along with lower per image pricing and preparation costs, members will benefit with service and savings guarantees.

With the addition of EDCO’s services, HCT provides its members a robust document management services portfolio to save time and money, use less paper and increase productivity across its membership in Texas.
