Galvanon Signs Contracts to Supply MediKiosks

Maitland, Fla.-based Galvanon, an NCR Corporation company, recently signed contracts with Dreyer Medical Clinic, Aurora, Ill., Scarsdale Medical Group, Scarsdale, N.Y., and Medical Clinic of North Texas, Dallas.

According to Galvanon, all three customers will license MediKiosk, a wireless patient check-in solution. The solution automates the registration process by allowing patients to identify themselves upon arrival, view and confirm demographic and insurance information, electronically sign consent documents and make co-payments, says the company.

All information entered by patients at check-in is routed to the clinic's back-end systems.
