TigerText Announces Secure Enterprise App for Apple Watch

April 15, 2015
TigerText announced the launch of TigerText for the Apple Watch, a secure enterprise messaging app that allows users to securely send and receive messages to anyone within their organization in a hands-free fashion.

Yesterday, TigerText, a provider of secure, real-time messaging for the enterprise, announced the launch of TigerText for the Apple Watch at HIMSS15.  This application allows uses to securely send and receive messages to anyone within the organization in a hands-free fashion--a boon in time-crunched critical care settings.

Apple Watch owners will be able to preview, read, and send secure messages in real-time.  And like the existing TigerText mobile app and web console, users can also see when messages have been delivered and read.  The Apple Watch app is HIPAA-compliant, allowing for the sending of protected health information.

“Wearable technology is going to see a boom in popularity, and the Apple Watch will be the first to revolutionize this trend,” said Brad Brooks, co-founder and CEO of TigerText. “TigerText already helps hundreds of thousands of people – doctors, lawyers, techies, entertainment giants, and more – send and receive information securely on their mobile devices. With TigerText for the Apple Watch, users will now be able to access their messages even more quickly – within a matter of seconds – and with the added assurance that everything stays safe and within their control.”
