Epic wins for 12th straight year; Nordic named the top Overall IT Services Firm

The 2022 Best in KLAS awards headline is perhaps unsurprising. Epic Systems was named the top Overall Software Suite for the 12th straight year. Epic was also named the top Overall Physician Practice Vendor. Epic won nine other Best in KLAS awards in various market segments.

The Best in KLAS Software and Services report, produced by Utah-based research firm KLAS, recognizes the leading vendors for solutions, services and management consulting offered in the United States.

Nordic was named the top Overall IT Services Firm. It scored above 90.0 in six different services segments and won Best in KLAS for HIT Implementation Leadership (Large). Galen Healthcare was recognized as the top Overall Implementation Services Firm – a new category. Galen also won Best in KLAS in HIT Staffing and Clinical Optimization, while also excelling in HIT Implementation Leadership (Small) and Technical Services. The Chartis Group repeats as winner of the top Overall Healthcare Management Consulting Firm for the second year in a row. The Chartis Group won four Best in KLAS awards and achieved high customer satisfaction in several additional professional services areas.

Infor ERP was named Most Improved Software Product. Infor ERP customer satisfaction improved 23 percent over the past year. Customers reported significant relationship improvements and much more engaged executives. Additionally, satisfaction with proactive service and training have both improved dramatically over the past year, according to KLAS. Customers also report feeling much more aware of and comfortable with Infor’s go-forward vision for the ERP product. Greenway Integrity Practice Management was named Most Improved Physician Practice Product. Midsized physician practices (11–75 physicians) that use Greenway Intergy Practice Management have reported increased satisfaction with the solution over the past year, particularly with the level of executive involvement.

“Each year, thousands of healthcare professionals across the globe take the time to share their voice with KLAS. They know that sharing their perspective helps vendors to improve and helps their peers make better decisions, said Adam Gale, president of KLAS Research, in a statement. “These conversations are a constant reminder to me of how necessary accurate, honest, and impartial reporting is in the healthcare industry. The Best in KLAS report and the awards it contains set the standard of excellence for software and services firms. Vendors who win the title of Best in KLAS should celebrate and remember that providers now accept only the best from their products and services. The Best in KLAS award serves as a signal to provider and payer organizations that they should expect excellence from the winning vendors.”
